Rose gold is a gold and copper alloy extensively used for particular jewellery (reddish colour). It is also recognized as Pink gold and Red gold.
Since it is an alloy, there is no such thing as "pure rose gold" or "pure red gold", or "pure white gold" either. Pure gold is yellow, and pure copper is reddish.
Even though the names are often used interchangeably, the differentiation between red, rose, and pink gold is in the amount of copper mixed in. The higher the copper content, the stronger the red colouration.
